A Great Travel Job for Occupational Therapists

If you're the kind of person that likes to travel for their work, one career you might want to consider is travel occupational therapy.

The basic idea behind this job is that you would travel to a location that needs your services, and as soon as that job is done you move on to the next one. Most of these jobs will last up to about 13 weeks, and once you're done you can either take a break for a week or two or move right on to your next job. How's that for lifestyle?

A career like this is really great for a person that is just getting into the field of occupational therapy. Being a traveling therapist gives you the ability to meet a lot of people and really see what it's like working in different situations. And while you're doing this you'll be building up an impressive resume!

Once you've had enough of the traveling, you should be able to settle down in one location because of your impressive resume.

In order to get this kind of job, you'll need to have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in occupational therapy. The good news is that there are several colleges that have distance education courses to help you get your degree no matter where you currently live.

Now let's talk about the money. Someone in travel occupational therapy can make a good living. Some job sites list pay as high as $80,000 and higher! Granted, there are jobs for less than that, but you get the idea!

There are few other jobs or careers that will give you this kind of lifestyle. And with the experiences you gain you'll be able to easily land a more permanent job as soon as you're ready.
