Corporate GREEN

Being green should not rest not only on individuals but also our corporate entities. We truly need to draw our attention and give a little green pr to those companies that have taken the initiatives to make changes to their work places that make our planet better. Meaning everything from, reducing air pollution, planting green roofs, installing energy efficient machinery, etc.

It's time that we stop focusing our efforts only on the negative but begin showing those who are doing the right things. Green pr is something that should and/or could be stressed for promoting business. Also, it is a great incentive to maintain the business you already possess. To know that a corporation considers what is best for our earth and encourages their staff to participate in an earth friendly environment should be publicized.

Today, if you search the internet for earth friendly products you will be amazed. People are genuinely interested in preserving and the whole "reduce, reuse, recycle" concept has really captured many in this generation.

Many websites are dedicated to the sole purpose of selling handmade products, to sites that allow you to trade for free things you are ready to get rid of, and the list would go on. Multiple ways that people are being intentional in using less and gaining more.

One area that has been enlightened in most towns from the largest to the smallest is within the realm of being "earth friendly". Recycling is now part of our vocabulary with an understanding of its importance to our world. It is great that we are seeing a sense of pride in our land. With our planet so plentiful in rich resources, it's about time we begin to take the time to appreciate it. Being "green" is a new trend that is invading our culture; as it should. When we educate people just how simple it is to make a difference they want to join in.

Green pr can be beneficial to any company that is willing to take their commitment to the next level. It's definately time that we start advertising the positive aspects of being "green" corporately.
