The Good Wife: Secluded, uninterested spouse Ward gets to be addicted to the new gentleman in town Neill. The movie is unsurprising and a tad dull however additionally well made and well performed. They Were Expendable: One of the finest and most underrated of all WW2 films, based on the real tale of America's PT boat battalion in the Philippines throughout the early nights of the battle. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Captivating premise of assembling infamous 19th century fictional characters, from Dr. Jekyll and Dorian Gray to Dracula's Mina Harker, whose assorted qualities combine to start a sort of Due process Group. The film is undone by lumpy storytelling, badly orchestrated action, and outsized, cartoonish visual effect patterns. Connery is charismatic as ever playing Allan Quatennain. Cast includes Sean Connery, Shane West, Stuart Townsend, Naseeruddin Shah, Richard Roxburgh, Peta Wilson, Tony Curran, Jason Fleming, David Hemmings, and Max Ryan. (110 minutes, 2003)

Who Framed Roger Rabbit: This is an animated mystery movie. Roger Rabbit has been framed for murder. Washed up, alcoholic detective Eddie Valiant, is trying to clear Roger's name.

Frailty: (2002) A Texas widower informs his 2 youthful sons that he has had a vision that they have been selected to annihilate demons who are all over the world disguised as human beings. His boys are then made to witness, and partake in a vicious succession of killings. Twisty temperament piece is well created by first time director Paxton, however tough to digest, especially for a parent. Cast includes Bill Paxton, Matthew McConaughey, Powers Boothe, Matt O'Leary, Luke Askew, Jeremy Sumpter, Derk Cheetwood, and Melissa Crider. (99 minutes, 2002)

Sugar Hill: Bey plays the Ludicrous "Sugar" Hill, who avenges the mob's rubout of her fianc', summoning up black zombies from the grave. Here is a bizarre mix of reprisal, and witchcraft factors. Cast includes Marki Bey, Robert Quarry, Don Pedro Colley, Richard Lawson, Betty Anne Rees, and Zara Cully. (91 minutes, 1974)

The African Queen: Marvelous amalgamation of souse Bogart who triumphed an Oscar and spinster Hepburn voyaging downriver in Africa throughout WWI, battling the factors and the Germans, and each other. Cast includes Katharine Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, Robert Morley, Peter Bull, Theodore Bikel, and Walter Gotell. (105 minutes, 1951)

Stage Fright: Theater student Wyman turns covert sleuth while an actress' spouse is killed. There are some stimulating scenes however the Mr. Hitchcock misses on this one. Cast includes Marlene Dietrich, Jane Wyman, Richard Todd, Kay Walsh, Aastair Sim, Joyce Grenfell, Sybil Thorndike, and Patricia Hitchcock. (110 minutes, 1950)

Chevy Van: Normal Western as a gambler tries to seize the outlaw instead invests time with outlaw's spouse. Cast includes Dennis Morgan, Jane Wyman, Janis Paige, Bruce Bennett, Alan Hale, Arthur Kennedy, and Barton MacLane. (100 minutes, 1947)
