But be careful at these events not to oversell your product or service to people, get to know the person you are talking to and see how you can help them before you jump into your pitch. If you are helpful and friendly the chances to build a relationship that turns into an opportunity will go up multifold.

This rapidly increasing part of the internet can give you a rapidly expanding business if you use it in the same way you work a live event. Become helpful and friendly and get to know the person you are communicating to and eventually they will realize you have a good product for them, too. Pushing your product at the beginning of a relationship with someone new will just drive them away " they think just another MLMer is trying to get rid of a product. So go slow and become a friend. You will enjoy it more, too.

Webinars and eBooks and similar internet tools used to expand your list of prospects can be profitable without spending much money and in some cases you can make money with these tools as well.
