Back in the olden days, a trip to your local courthouse would yield you a lot of information. Though it is still true today, it is much more difficult and could prove to be more expensive than just doing it on the internet. If you have seen the prices of running a car, including gas and insurance, then you will know what I am talking about.

It depends on your locality how long they keep this information on file, but it is typically several years. There is much information gleemed from a visit to your county courthouse, be sure to take advantage of it some day, you could learn a lot just by knowing how the system works.

In today's world, it is much easier to find out what you need to know about a person witthout even leaving the house. No, you longer have to pay a visit to your local courthouse, unless you simply want to.

You can go to your favorite search engine and do a search for people sites and up will pop several choices that will help you to find what you are looking for. What used to be only accessible by private investigators, anyone with a modem and a computer can access.

If you want to take advantage of the people sites, all it takes is a visit to your favorite local search engine to find out what you need to know. If you type in the search terms for your subject, you will typically find several choices to choose from.

You need to be aware what each one offers. Some offer more than others, so be sure you are aware of what you need. For example, if you just have one person you are looking up, then you may just need to pay the one use access. However, if you have several or even hundreds, then you may want to pay for an all day pass. The choice is yours, but you have the power to know what you want to know.
