You know that blogging can be a lot of fun, but you probably also know that there are some problems out there that bloggers face. If you keep yourself aware of these things you'll know exactly what you need to do to combat the problems. You'll be a better blogger with an amazing blog as a result.
The three problems most bloggers deal with include:
Burnout, Sameness, Lack of Focus.
Let's see if we can sort these out!
Number one is the burnout issue. Then you got going, you were probably very excited to start blogging. You were set in your mind that you were going to blog hard! You also likely thought that the payback was going to be quick. However, it soon became clear that you were going to be talking about the same topic repeatedly, which can get tedious. You also realized that this is going to take time to get rolling.
It is totally fine to feel frustration. However, you've got to deal with this feeling and push on. Make a pact with yourself that you just won't quit. Because if you quit, you'll lose out on the good and in some cases great income that lies ahead. Just push through and keep going so that you build up some momentum. Become good at ignoring the feeling of frustration and you'll start to see that repeated efforts pay off. Sadly, too many bloggers give up. But don't let this happen to you!
Problem two on our list is that of samenees. This just means that you find it hard to get a grip on what you 'niche' is. Yes, you do have a solid awareness of what your blog is about -- you probably are very focused on that. This doesn't ensure that you blog will be unique among the crowd!
In order for you to gain the most loyal following possible you need to do something that will put you above the others. You might run special contests, write in a unique "voice" using humor or other forms of unique writing, or just come up with something that is absolutely off the wall but that your visitors will love.
The last issue facing bloggers is inability to focus. We have already covered that it is tough to stay upbeat beyond the beginning of your blog, and this issue usually contributes to losing focus. You began writing about something you were passionate about -say wine, but you soon lost interest and started to blog on a different subject like dog training instead.
This goes back to the issue where you just need to push through. Even if you feel like you just can't focus on this topic, you need to realize that jumping from one thing to the other will only hold you back from reaching your goals.
There are, of course, other problems that bloggers face as well. The difference between those who do well and those who give up is their determination. If you are determined to earn enough income to replace your job, for example, you're going to need to know that these problems are there and come up with a battle plan to banish them forever.
Remember, blogging is wonderful, but it takes a unique mindset to really make it as a blogger.
